If you have thought about it, others have to. Here are some questions others have asked.
Q. If I bring something that is too big to take with me, is it safe to leave it behind?
Yes, absolutely, the office space is secure, even when we leave the premises!
Q. Does my reservation come with any information or details about the tour?
Yes, we send an email telling arrival times, directions, parking, appropriate clothing, etc.
And if it rains during the tour, each Segway has a poncho on board.
Q. Should we tip the tour guide? I never know when it is appropriate.
The guides will never ask you for a tip, and you will not see a "tip jar" at Sandusky Segwave.
A gesture that you enjoyed the tour and how hard the guide worked to ensure your safety, and
you want to reward their efforts, then yes tips are accepted. Thanks for asking.
Q. Are you close to Cedar Point?
Yes, it is just across the bay from Downtown Sandusky. Because Sandusky, has such
a woven fabric of generations who have had the Cedar Point opportunity for jobs, it is very
close to us. If you take time to engage our local residents, you will find many will say yes,
as a student I worked there, and loved it! Many residents still work at Cedar Point.
Q. I have never ridden a Segway before, will I be O.K.?
Yes, you should be, we are good instructors, and anticipate you might be a bit timid
and we offer great support. We do say trust your instincts, and at least try it.
Q. We want to bring along one of our children who is under 14, are there any options?
Yes, there are bikes close by that you can rent for the child to ride and
come along with us. Below is a helpful link to connect and rent to coincide with tour times.
Q. Will I (we) have fun?
We're sorry, but no one has ever asked that question. I would simply
say look at our reviews on social media about others' experiences and you will soon
find out that the answer is YES!
